During the second day of the fourth Ashes Test in 2010, Australia appealed for a caught behind against England batter Kevin Pietersen but was turned down by the on-field umpire. Then the Australian skipper Ricky Ponting referred the decision but it was turned down by the third umpire as well.

The Aussie captain was frustrated with the decision and had a lengthy debate with on-field umpire Aleem Dar and even went to Pietersen to talk about it.
