3. Washington Sundar for Ravindra Jadeja 

Sundar has been called in place of Ravindra Jadeja as he is unlikely to be a part of the second Test due to his hamstring injury. However, Washington Sundar has been labelled the ideal substitute for Ravichandran Ashwin. While he has yet to match Ashwin’s wicket-taking prowess, he has shown flashes of his batting ability.
