The Indian T20 League has been called by many the greatest T20 League on planet earth. The league has unearthed many Indian and foreign superstars which have made it back to their national sides on the back of fabulous Indian T20 League performances. The League continues to grow stronger year after year. The 2023 edition, just like the 2022 edition, will be a 10-team tournament.

Over the years many stalwarts such as Lasith Malinga, Dale Steyn, Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard have bid goodbye to the Indian T20 League and taken up coaching roles in the franchises involved in the Indian T20 League. In this edition also we could see many players step down from the Indian T20 League and this season could be their last. Amit Mishra has been a wily old fox in the Indian T20 League, where he has spun a web around many a batter and has bamboozled many of them with his craft. He has taken three hat tricks in the Indian T20 League. In the Indian T20 League, he has picked up 166 wickets in 144 matches at an average of 11.68 and a strike rate of 93.06. Mishra will be part of Lucknow this season and is 40 years of age so he could play his last season.
