Steve Smith was a leg spinner when he started his career for Australia. In the late 2000s, Smith was in the Australian team as the next Shane Warne, which is almost unbelievable today. Smith was very good at bowling in T20Is. But in the 2010s, Smith transformed himself into a sensational batter. In Test cricket, Smith turned out to be a beast across conditions. As a middle-order batter, Smith has been one of the best batters in the world in his time. Smith helped Australia to win the 2015 ODI World Cup, and the recently concluded World Test Championship final. Smith was also a part of the Australian team that won the 2021 T20 World Cup.
