India lost the third Test against Australia at Indore by 9 wickets after a below-par batting performance. India scored 109 in the first innings and 163 in the second innings. Australia were brilliant and made the most of the Indore pitch, which was a red soil pitch, that had a lot of bounce for the spinners. The Indians had no answer to the spin trio of Nathan Lyon, Matt Kuhemann and Todd Murphy.

A very beautiful moment between Ravindra Jadeja and Sanjay Manjrekar in the Indore Test as the two have hit the headlines again. The moment happened after team India lost the Indore Test. The video has gone viral on social media. In the video, Jadeja comes and shakes hands with Jatin Sapru then he talks to Harbhajan Singh and gives a huge hug to Manjrekar.

Jadeja was called a bits and pieces player by Manjrekar in 2019

Jadeja and Manjrekar did have a frosty relationship between them from 2019 when Jadeja was referred to as a ‘bits and pieces’ player by Manjrekar. However, Jadeja derived a lot of inspiration from that comment and changed his batting approach in Test Cricket. Since 2019, after the comment was made, Jadeja has been a match-winner with the bat in Tests and white-ball cricket for India.

“Still I have played twice the number of matches you have played and I m still playing. Learn to respect ppl who have achieved. I have heard enough of your verbal diarrhoea. @sanjaymanjrekar,” Jadeja wrote about Manjrekar in 2019. Since then Manjrekar interviewed Jadeja in the first Test at Nagpur where he had picked up a five-wicket haul for India on his comeback from injury. Manjrekar had said “Are you ok with me Jaddu” before starting the interview after the match. The interview went very well and was also watched by many cricket fans. It also gained a lot of traction on social media.

Jadeja has been on a roll with the bat and ball for India in the series in Australia where he made a comeback to the Indian side after he had a knee injury. He has taken wickets with the ball and made runs with the bat for the national side. He took a game-changing 7-42 in the Delhi Test and made 70 in Nagpur with the bat as well.
