‘Article 370,’ Yami Gautam’s most recent film, has encountered difficulty because it is prohibited in Gulf nations. This setback will have an impact on the film’s international sales even though it has done well both domestically and internationally and has garnered positive reviews from both critics and audiences. Nevertheless, the certification board did not offer an official justification for this step.

The prohibition in Gulf nations is controversial, particularly in light of the thriving travel and tourism sector and the widespread appeal of Indian cinema in the area. The Fighter movie starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, which was likewise outlawed in every Gulf country but the United Arab Emirates, suffered a similar fate.

Article 370 in trouble:

On its first day of release, the movie brought in ₹5.9 crore, followed by ₹7.4 crore on the second and ₹9.6 crore on the third. According to preliminary estimates, Article 370 made ₹3.25 crore nett in India on its fourth day, which was the first Monday. In India, the movie has brought in ₹26.15 crore so far. Producers Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar are behind the film.

In ‘‘Article 370,’ Yami Gautam plays intelligence officer Zooni Haksar in a story that revolves around the revocation of ‘Article 370′ and Jammu and Kashmir’s unique status against the backdrop of the valley. During a recent speech in Jammu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made mention of the movie and expressed excitement for its release, emphasizing how it could offer reliable information on the subject. Yami responded by thanking everyone on Instagram and hoped to live up to the expectations set for her portrayal of this incredible story.

In addition to Yami Gautam, Priyamani, Arun Govil, and Kiran Karmarkar play key roles in the movie. Jio Studios and Aditya Dhar’s company B62 Studios support Article 370. “True events that shaped the fate of Kashmir” served as the inspiration for the drama.

The film, which was directed by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, also stars Kiran Karmarkar, Priyamani, and Arun Govil.
