‘Yaha to Proper WWE’ chal raha hai’ – Fans react as ugly spat breaks out during DC vs SRH game in IPL 2023

Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad locked horns against each other at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. The coin went the way of SRH and they elected to bat first. Abhishek Sharma was the star for SRH as he made a cracking 67 off 36 balls with 12 fours and one six. His heroic efforts gave some much needed momentum to the SRH innings. Abhishek was well supported by Heinrich Klaasen and Abdul Samad.

While the match was a real cliffhanger and SRH won a real close game by nine runs. There was a very bad incident that happened in the stands. Fans were in a violent clash with each other. The video has some very disturbing scenes as this was a next level fan war.

Neither of the group of fans was willing to compromise. The fight lasted for a long time. The fans got some entertainment for free and the footage of the incident was also recorded on their phones.

Heinrich Klassen made an unbeaten 53 off 27 balls to help SRH end up with 197 against DC

Meanwhile, the match was a very good one for the fans as they got their money’s worth. Along with a stunning contribution from Abhishek, Klaasen made an unbeaten 53 off 27 balls with two fours and four sixes. Abdul Samad provided him good company as he made a nice 28 off 21 balls with one four and two sixes. Akeal Hosein finished well with a quick 16 off 10 balls with one four and one six as SRH ended on 197-6 in their 20 overs.

Mitchell Marsh was the best bowler for DC as he picked up 4-27 in his four overs. In the second innings, it appeared that DC were running away with the game at one stage. But the SRH bowlers came back well. Mayank Markande bowled an impressive spell of 2-20 in his four overs. For DC, Marsh and Phil Salt made 63 off 39 balls with one four and six sixes and 59 off 35 balls with nine fours respectively.

The DC think tank made some shoddy decisions and held Axar Patel back to number seven which cost them the game. DC have now lost six games in IPL 2023 and are sitting at the bottom of the table. They will want to try and finish this season with some positives.
