WWE Hall of Famer opens up about change of roster for diva Zoey Stark
Several well-known athletes changed teams throughout the 2023 WWE Draft. They have been able to experience various degrees of success as a result during the previous several months. Bully Ray believes that Zoey Stark represents a few of the superstars that have struggled since joining the main roster. Throughout Stark’s stint in NXT, Ray became one of her most ardent fans. When Shawn Michaels visited his podcast earlier this year, he also mentioned her.

Ray disagrees with those who find Zoey Stark’s promotion onto the main roster and her relationship with Trish Stratus impressive. The Hall of Famer criticised the WWE star’s efforts on the main roster on the most recent episode of the radio programme Busted Open Radio.
Ray said, “In NXT, I really enjoyed Zoey Stark. So far, on the main roster, not so much. I feel that her promo and verbiage are extremely forced and that she’s trying to memorize her lines. I didn’t feel the same way about her in NXT — I felt she was a lot more relaxed and going out there and letting it flow. Now, is it because of the big spotlight of Monday Night Raw? Maybe she’s not used to someone from Gorilla telling her to do things? Not sure.”
He added, “I go by the way things make me feel — the tone, inflection, volume, energy, and personality. I’m actually looking in Zoey’s eyes, and watching her memorize stuff. End of the match, when she’s sitting atop the ladder – after Becky defeated Chelsea — she’s got this mean, ‘I’m gonna get you’ pro wrestling face on. To me, all of that stuff screams Vince. I will defend Vince [McMahon] on a lot of the great things, but some of the stuff he wants is so over-the-top sometimes.”
Trish Stratus and Zoey Stark’s union will probably be fruitful. She won’t be able to advance in her fight with Becky Lynch, though, if she relies on the two top WWE athletes to support her.
