The current ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is Shah Rukh Khan’s neighbour. He stated, “I spend a lot of time here [in Dubai]. My lovely home was gifted to me by Nakheel [Properties, real estate owned by the Government of Dubai]. And the fact that no one bothers me makes it one of the greatest places on earth. Additionally, the Prime Minister, His Excellency, recently informed me that he resides close to it. So he’s hosting the next New Year’s Eve party. It’s really nice, but he’s a good neighbour. I’m having a great time here in Dubai. I genuinely enjoy being here.”
