What!? Bigg Boss 16 duo Shiv Thakare and Abdu Rozik gets summoned by ED in money laundering case!
According to reports, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has called Bigg Boss 16 contestants Shiv Thakare and Abdu Rozik in relation to a possible money laundering case. If the Free Press Journal report is accurate, there is a connection between the case and suspected drug lord Ali Asghar Shirazi. Shiv and Abdu reportedly testified before ED as case witnesses.
According to the news portal, Hustlers’ Hospitality Pvt Ltd., which Ali Asghar Shirazi founded, financed a number of startups, including Mumbai-based Abdu Rozik’s “Burgiir” and Shiv Thakare’s “Thakare Chai and Snacks.” It is reported that Shirazi made investments in these food chains using money he obtained through narco-funding. Nevertheless, Shiv and Abdu ended their agreements as soon as they learned of Ali Asghar Shirazi’s purported involvement in the drug trade.
Shiv Thakare and Abdu Rozik in big trouble?:
According to reports, Shiv Thakare admitted to ED officers during his interrogation that he had met Hustlers Hospitality director Krunal Ojha in 2022 through a third party. Following their meeting, Krunal extended an offer of partnership for Thakare Chai and Snacks. Now, more information about the case is anticipated.
