The ongoing second Test between Australia and West Indies in Brisbane has been full of fun for both teams. Batting first, the visitors amassed 311 runs thanks to half-centuries from Kevam Hodge, Joshua Da Silva, and debutant Kevin Sinclair scoring fifties. For the home side, Mitchell Starc took four wickets while Josh Hazlewood and Nathan Lyon took two wickets each.

In reply, the World Test Championship winners had a poor start as they were 54/5 at one stage. However, thanks to fifties from Alex Carey, Usman Khawaja, and skipper Pat Cummins helped the team reach 289/9 before declaring the innings while trailing by 22 runs. In the second innings, the Caribbeans were expected to score big like in the first innings.

However, on the third day, the team was bowled out for 193 with Shamar Joseph retired out due to Starc’s Yorker hitting him. The home side is set a target of 216 runs and they are 60/2 at stumps. Meanwhile, on the third day, the West Indies batter Hodge had some fun with the third umpire. Apparently, in the first innings, one of the dismissals didn’t happen as the bail didn’t dislodged.
