Jitesh Sharma’s 41 off 27 balls with two fours and three sixes

RCB did not have the best innings with the bat. The Bold Army were in great position after the 10 over mark. But while Faf du Plessis went after the bowling and got good results, Kohli looked at sea against the spinners. He slowed down his innings and did not look at his best against Rahul Chahar. Kohli ended up with 59 off 47 balls with five fours and one six. Thanks to Du Plessis innings of 84 off 56 balls with five fours and five sixes, RCB ended up with 174-4 in their 20 overs.

In the second innings, Prabhsimran Singh who was the impact player came in for Chahar. The right hander made 46 off 30 balls with three fours and four sixes. Jitesh Sharma made 41 off 27 balls with two fours and three sixes. In the end, these contributions were not enough. Mohammed Siraj was outstanding for RCB with the ball as he picked up 4-21 in his four overs. Wanindu Hasaranga picked up 2-39 in his four overs. Harshal Patel bowled an economical spell.

The Right armer picked up 1-21 in his 3.2 over spell. It was good all-round performance for RCB with the ball. The Bold Army were very good in the field as well. They will be hoping to get some momentum as they go further into the tournament.
