Watch: Tom Curran wins hearts as he gets spotted giving tips to young kid during ILT20 game
The ILT20 based in the United Arab Emirates is ongoing and the teams are giving it their all, to provide the best entertainment for the fans. The tournament has been attracting fans from around the world, given cricketers from various countries are taking part in the highly-competitive yet short tournament.
On January 22, Sunday, Desert Vipers and Gulf Giants faced off against each other in Match 12 of the tournament and it was the Giants who won the game chasing the target of 196 with 5 wickets to spare. While their chase was one of the takeaways from the game, the star English pacer Tom Curran giving tips to the ball boy at the boundary was another, which won the hearts of the spectators gathered in the stadium and fans who watched it on the internet as well.

Gulf Giants take home victory despite heroics from Alex Hales
Alex Hales, the English cricketer, made his comeback in the T20I setup for the 20-20 World Cup 2022 and since then, the batter has been in stupendous form and in the shortest format of the game in specific. During Sunday’s clash against the Giants, the right-handed batter missed out on yet another century as he was removed on 99 by Chris Jordan.
On the back of his heroics, the Vipers put on a massive total on the board at the end of the first innings. As far as the chase is concerned, after being restricted to 30/3 early on in the innings, the Giants’ stars Chris Lynn and Shimron Hetmyer contributed a vital 71 and 70 respectively, taking the team home with three balls to spare.
While the duo brought the team back into the game, post their departure, it was the likes of Liam Dawson and David Wiese who ensured that the Giants won the game, given that they were in need of 34 runs off the last 21 balls. It was an emphatic win for the team who climbed to the second spot with three wins out of the four matches that they have played so far in the competition.
