Team India defeated Zimbabwe by 13 runs in the third and final match to complete the clean sweep of the ODI series on Monday, August 22. It was a hard-fought victory for the Men in Blue as Sikandar Raza almost took Zimbabwe home. Post the thrilling finale, the Indian players were seen celebrating and grooving over the Bollywood song ‘Kala Chashma’.

The veteran Indian batter Shikhar Dhawan is known to have moments of fun off the field, making humorous reels and  Monday was no different.  He was the leader of the pack as far as celebrations were concerned. The southpaw, with the stand-in skipper KL Rahul, started things off but the latter sidelined himself as the epic dance-off started.

The duo of Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill, who were the heroes of the victory in the final ODI, were the centre of attraction once again with their hilarious dance moves.

Dhawan, who was the only one wearing black glasses, captioned the video, “That’s how we celebrate the win #Kala chasma.” The video went viral as soon as it hit the internet with over 1.2 million likes and invited some amusing reactions as well.

West Indies batting great Brian Lara commented, “I remembered a similar group of guys dancing the night away a few weeks ago,” referring to the celebrations in the Caribbean couple of weeks ago. Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh also came up with a cheeky reply stating, “Stick to cricket lads.”

Here is the video

India has completed a third series sweep this year courtesy of the batting pair of Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill. The duo stitched a crucial 140-run partnership for the third wicket until Ishan Kishan fell for a well-made 50. Shubman Gill went on to score his maiden international ton. His blistering knock of 130 runs came in just 97 deliveries.  This is also the highest score by an Indian batter in Zimbabwe, bettering Sachin Tendulkar’s 127* in 1998.

Riding on the innings of the young duo, India posted a target of 289 runs. In response, Zimbabwe nearly chased the total down led by Sikander Raza’s sensational century. The Zimbabwe all-rounder scored 115 runs off just 95 deliveries and this is his third century last six ODI innings.
