Shubman Gill was visibly frustrated after missing his fourth Test hundred for India against England in the third Test in Rajkot. Batting on 91 runs, Shubman Gill was run out by England captain Ben Stokes in the ongoing Test match.

On Day 4, while coming to bat, Shubman Gill started ton 65 runs. In the first session of Day 4, batting on 91 runs, he was run out due to a wrong call by Kuldeep Yadav. He also missed a well-deserving hundred. The incident happened in the 64th over bowled by Tom Hartley. As Kuldeep Yadav was on strike, he placed the ball in the mid-on region and went for a run before sending Gill back on the non-striker’s end.

For the second time in Test cricket, Shubman Gill was dismissed in the 90s. On Day 3 of the third Test match between India and England, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill put on a strong partnership of 155 runs to take India in a steady position as India lost Rohit Sharma on 19 runs. On Day 3 Yashasvi Jaiswal scored his third Test century before retiring hurt, while Shubman Gill scored half-century.  Rajat Patidar went on duck as night-watch Kuldeep Yadav came to bat.

Run out Mix-up happened between Ravindra Jadeja and Sarfaraz Khan

At the end of Day 3, Kuldeep Yadav and Shubman Gill put on a 50-run partnership as they took India to score 250 runs past.

Earlier on Day 1 the same thing happened between Ravindra Jadeja and Sarfaraz Khan. While Ravindra Jadeja was batting on 99 runs, he went for a quick single to get his hundred. Mark Wood, who was fielding on mid-on, threw the ball towards non-strikers’ stumps. As the ball directly hit the stumps Sarfaraz Khan was run out by Mark Wood. Sarfaraz Khan scored 62 runs from 66 balls.
