Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar is currently enjoying a family trip to Jammu and Kashmir. Immersed in the local culture, Tendulkar was spotted engaging with residents, savouring regional cuisine, and picking up keepsakes. A heartwarming video captured his co-passengers on the flight chanting his name in a show of appreciation, which he humbly acknowledged with folded hands and waves. The chants of ‘Sachin Sachin’ reminded people of the days when he was an active player.

Sachin with the locals!
Videos from Sachin Tendulkar’s ongoing Kashmir tip have received a lot of attention and love from fans around the world

Tendulkar‘s trip to Jammu and Kashmir took a playful turn in the latest video, which he uploaded himself. Captioned “Cricket and Kashmr: A Match in Heaven,” the video showcases him enjoying an impromptu game with locals against a stunning backdrop of snow-capped mountains. Tendulkar’s enthusiasm is evident as he asks to join the game and playfully challenges the local bowler. His elegant shots draw cheers and camera flashes, and the atmosphere is lighthearted and joyous. Adding a touch of fun, he announces one last ball, holding the bat upside down. Even with the upside-down challenge, he impresses everyone with his skilful contact. The video ends with a heartwarming selfie, capturing the genuine connection between Tendulkar and the locals.

Minor hurdle during the trip!

While Sachin Tendulkar’s Kashmir trip showcased joyful moments, there was a brief hiccup. A video circulated online showed his black Fortuner struggling on a snowy slope in Gulmarg. Despite attempts, it couldn’t gain traction. Though not officially confirmed, reports suggest Sachin eventually opted for an ATV ride to continue his journey, leaving the Fortuner in hotel care. Though a minor hurdle, it highlights the unpredictable nature of mountain excursions.

Tendulkar could soon be seen in the Indian Premier League as part of the Mumbai Indians, with whom he has been associated right from the inaugural season. He has served as a player, captain and mentor, guiding plenty of players along the way. Mumbai Indians, under a new skipper, Hardik Pandya will be looking to add to their 5 trophies this time around.
