The ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy 2023 saw its fourth and final Test begin on March 9. Australia captain Steve Smith elected to bat first after winning the toss. The choice appeared to be wise enough for the Australians when the visitors scored valuable runs in the first two sessions.

Likewise, India lamented lost opportunities. Rohit Sharma, the captain of India, found himself puzzled in the midst of things on Day 1. The home side is in a spot of bother as the Aussies are piling on the runs and have plenty of wickets in hand at the end of the day’s play in Ahmedabad.

What was Rohit’s Sharma on-field behavior that caught everyone’s attention?

The Indian skipper attracted attention with his on-field performance as well. As the drink break was called, Ishan Kishan brought water bottles with him, and given that the interval was brief,  Kishan could not hold onto the water bottle, Rohit gave him since Kishan was in a hurry to leave the field. The latter did not pick up the bottle once it fell to the ground.

Then, Sharma’s move attracted notice. For spilling the bottle, the Indian skipper was seen threatening to slap Kishan. Yet, it was clear that the threat was friendly because both players were grinning.

Ishan Kishan also drew a lot of attention earlier in the day. Prime Minister Narendra Modi exchanged greetings with the Indian players prior to the start of the fourth Test against Australia, and it seems that something interesting occurred at that time that involved the former India U19 skipper.

When the athletes shook PM Modi’s hand, Kishan stood out as the wicket-keeper batsman was seen sliding his hands into his pants. It’s probable that pictures of Kishan placing his hands in his underpants went viral when he was changing and tucking in his jersey, drawing criticism from online users.
