A statement from the chief of the Pakistan Cricket Board, Zaka Ashraf, has gone viral on the internet. It has led to a controversy, as the fans of cricket did not like the fact that he used the term ‘Enemy country’ or ‘Dushman mulk’ during his addressing speech to the Pakistani cricket team which was on the tour of India for the ODI World Cup.

Ashraf already showed his disinterest in approving the Pakistan team to take part in the ODI World Cup 2023 which will be happening in India. For a long time, the Indian and Pakistani cricket boards have been in conflicts over several issues. India has not sent its team to Pakistan since 2009. It did not go well with the chief of Pakistan board.

In the end, Pakistan had to send its team for the tournament without any choice. Following the Asia Cup 2023, Pakistan announced its updated squad for the ODI World Cup. As the Pakistani squad arrived in India for the tournament, they got a thunderous roar from the Indian crowd. The Pakistani players were delighted with the welcome they got. Following the incident, Ashraf let out his remarks in one of the media conferences.
