WATCH: Pakistan players enjoy team dinner in ‘Jewel of Nizam’ hotel in Hyderabad

Pakistan players, coaching staff, and other staff members went to a hotel in Hyderabad to have a team dinner. All the players enjoyed their dinner in the hotel named ‘Jewel of Nizam’ and took selfies. A lot of fans had gathered in and outside the hotel. Pakistan players did not disappoint them and took selfies with them after having dinner in the hotel. Fans were happy with the gesture of the Pakistani players.

The players and coaching staff of Pakistan were welcomed by the hotel management, who offered garlands to the players. Players seemed to be happy with the reception they got. Later, Pakistan players took a look at the hotel and roamed around enjoying themselves. Pakistan players enjoyed their dinner and seemed happy with the food being offered.

Some of the players were particularly in love with the paan offered after the dinner. Following the dinner, the players stood for a photograph with the hotel staff, who served them the food. Pakistani players were kind enough to take selfies with them as well. The likes of Hasan Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Imam-Ul-Haq, Babar Azam, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and others offered selfies to the fans.

Warmup games against big teams for Pakistan 

The practice match for Pakistan against New Zealand ahead of the ODI World Cup 2023 did not go well. While they scored 345 runs in their 50 overs, they ended up losing the match, as New Zealand chased the target in just 43.4 overs. Mohammad Rizwan, Saud Shakeel, and Babar were impressive with the bat. With the ball, they were not so good and punished by the Kiwi batters. Pakistan probably missed the services of Naseem Shah in the match.

Rachin Ravindra, Kane Williamson, Daryl Mitchell, and Mark Chapman scored fifty and helped New Zealand to chase the target. Pakistan has another warmup match scheduled against Australia in Hyderabad. While Australia did not have a full practice match against the Netherlands in Trivandrum, they will be hoping for a full practice match against Pakistan in Hyderabad. Unlike other venues, the weather is clear in Hyderabad.
