Former India skipper MS Dhoni was recently seen driving a vintage Pontiac car on the streets of Ranchi. A fan captured an appearance of Dhoni having fun in Pontiac and uploaded it to Twitter. Notably, the video has gathered a lot of attention. Chennai Super Kings lifted their fifth IPL title this year under his captaincy after defeating the Hardik Pandya-led side Gujarat Titans. The legendary player possesses a strong fondness for cars and motorcycles. He has a multi-story garage in his farmhouse. Notably, a few days ago, a video posted by veteran Indian cricketer Venkatesh Prasad revealed this garage to the public. The video provided a unique view into Dhoni’s private collection, showing an entire floor entirely occupied by motorcycles and a collection of cars.

The iconic cricketer retired from international cricket after playing his last game in the 2019 ODI World Cup against New Zealand. The wicket-keeper batter is considered one of the best captains in the history of cricket. Moreover, the Ranchi-born player remains the only skipper who has won all three major white-ball titles. Notably, India won the T20 World Cup in 2007, the ODI World Cup in 2007, and the Champions Trophy in 2013 under his captaincy. In addition, Team India has been struggling to win titles since 2013.

An indisputably admirable captain

Beyond his international career, CSK’s win in the recently concluded IPL 2023 showed grit and commitment, a tribute to his unrelenting commitment towards his team and his sport. Furthermore, this fierce determination proved to be the driving force behind CSK’s spectacular victory, which will be written down in the records of IPL history.

In addition, MS Dhoni has once again proved how he is not merely a player on the field but also an indisputably admirable captain and an exemplar of the essence of cricket through his unrelenting determination and courage.
