India lost the third Test of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Indore by 9 wickets. After India had a below-par performance with the bat in the second innings and left Australia with only 76 to chase in the fourth innings, which resulted in Australia getting a famous win in Indore. Australia got their first victory in the four-match Test series with this win. India had a 2-0 lead going into the third Test.
Mohammed Siraj won hearts in the Indore Test with a beautiful gesture by handing out his energy drink to a fan in the stands at Indore. He gave his energy drink to a fan. It is to be noted that it is summer in India and temperatures are at an all-time high right now in the country. Fans brave 40-degree heat and watch Test matches in the stands.

The Test Championship will be held in England at the Oval in June
Australia, with this win, have qualified for the Test Championship finals, which will be their maiden appearance. India and New Zealand locked horns in the last Test Championship final at Southampton, where New Zealand were too good for India and took the Test mace home. The Test championship was brought in to provide more context to Test Cricket and get more fans to like the format.
India had wins in Nagpur, which was by an innings and 132 runs and then in Delhi by 6 wickets. India will also look to come back to winning ways in the Test at Ahmedabad. The conditions in Ahmedabad will also be interesting to see as the pitch for the Test might be a spin-friendly one considering India lost the Test at Indore.
India initially had an idea of putting out a seam-friendly wicket in Ahmedabad, which could help stimulate the conditions in England. The Test Championship final will be played at the Oval in June. The probable dates are 7-11 which will happen right at the end of the Indian T20 League in 2023. India are yet to win a World event since 2013.
