The Pakistan Super League continues to see some wonderful clashes taking place. The remaining matches will be played at Lahore and Rawalpindi. A high-octane clash happened between Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings. Notably, Babar had played for Karachi in the last edition of PSL.

At the end of the match, Zalmi were too good for the Kings and won the game but not before Amir had troubled Babar in the first over. Amir had put a statement in the earlier game when these two sides met that bowling to Babar is as good as bowling to a tailender. In that game though, Babar had hit Amir all over the park and ended up with 0-42 in his four overs.

In this game, Amir breathed fire and bowled a stunning first over. Amir bowled with his tail up and dismissed openers, Mohammad Harris and Babar Azam. Amir bowled with a lot of heart and got his lines and lengths spot on as the batters did not know what hit them and could not find a way to navigate him.

Peshawar Zalmi won the game by 24 runs

Here is the video

Zalmi scored 197-5 in their 20 overs as they recovered beautifully after they were 1-2 in the first over. Tom Kohler Cadmore picked up 56 off 45 balls with five fours and three sixes. Haseebullah Khan made 50 off 29 balls with four fours and three sixes. Rowman Powell made a quickfire 64 off 34 balls with six fours and four sixes.

In reply, Other than Mathew Wade who made 53 off 41 balls with nine fours and Imad Wasim who made 57 off 30 balls with 10 fours and one six, the others could not get in and get a big score with the bat in hand. Kings made 173-8 and ended up losing the game by 24 runs.

The PSL is currently having its eighth edition and this season has had a lot of hurdles such as a bomb blast happening when the exhibition games were played in Quetta and also when eight security cameras were stolen which were going to be used to monitor the Gaddafi Stadium at Lahore. Despite all of this the tournament continues to be played and gives a lot of entertainment for people in Pakistan.
