David Warner has been a prolific run-scorer in the history of the Indian T20 League. He has scored 5881 runs in the tournament at an average of 42 and a strike rate of 140.69. He has scored four hundreds and fifty-five fifties. He led Hyderabad to a title victory in 2016.
Recently, Warner was again seen trending on Instagram for swapping his face for Shahrukh Khan. The reel which was uploaded by Warner broke the internet. The reel had some scenes from his new Bollywood movie Pathaan.
The movie has been a hit among fans, especially the ones who are die-hard Shah Rukh Khan fans. The movie has in a sense revitalized the Bollywood film industry which was experiencing a recent downturn.

The gross earnings of the movie have been tremendous, and the film has minted a whopping 313 crore worldwide. This is the three-day gross earnings. Shah Rukh Khan was back in a lead role after five years. The movie has taken the box office by storm and has been well-received by the audience.
Warner has done many reels like this in the past which were a huge hit among the fans in Hyderabad. He used to do these fun reels for Telugu films. He was affectionately called Warner gaaru and Warner miyaan when he was in Hyderabad. This was his way of connecting with the Hyderabad fans and they received it well.
Warner, in the 2022 Indian T20 League auction, was bought by the Delhi franchise. Rishabh Pant will not play for Delhi this season because he met with a near-fatal car crash in December 2022.
Warner could be looked at as a potential captaincy option in the short term as he has already done the same in the Indian T20 League. He will be a big part of the Delhi side in 2023 as they aim to complete the quest for their maiden title in the Indian T20 League.
