WATCH: CSK players have fun gaming session amidst IPL 2023
Chennai Super Kings have had a good season in Indian Premier League 2023. They are currently in the second position in the points table. The four-time IPL Champions have won six games and lost four with one no result. Ahead of their clash against Delhi Capitals, they took the pressure off by indulging in a fun gaming session. Some of the players were taking food in the gaming area.
MS Dhoni was seen wearing a deep black Kurta Pajama. Some of the players were playing table tennis and others were indulging in some fun video games. Maheesh Theekshana, Devon Conway and a few others played a game of snooker. Chennai won their last game against the Mumbai Indians in comprehensive fashion at the Chepauk. The Yellove Army did the double against the Paltan in IPL 2023.

Chennai Super Kings beat Mumbai Indians by six wickets at Chepauk in their last game
On a pitch that has been so conducive to the spinners, the Pacers did the damage for CSK in the EL Classico of the IPL. Matheesha Pathirana was the star with the ball for CSK. The Sri Lankan bowled a decisive spell off 3-15 in his four overs to tilt the match in CSK’s favour. Deepak Chahar took 2-18 in his spell of three overs. Tushar Deshpande picked up 2-26 in his quota of four overs. The MI batters were not able to get a read of the CSK bowlers.
MI could only muster 139-8 in their 20 overs. Nehal Wadhera was the only batter who looked assured out there. The left-hander made a fine 64 off 51 balls with eight fours and a six. Rohit Sharma got out for a duck due to a poor shot. In the second innings, Conway and Rututaj Gaikwad got CSK off to a fast start. Conway made a steady 44 off 42 balls with four fours. Gaikwad hit a quickfire 30 off 16 balls with four fours and two sixes.
In the end, there were some fireworks from Shivam Dube to close the game. The left-hander made 26 off 18 balls consisting of three sixes. When MS Dhoni hit the winning runs for CSK the crowd at the M.A Chidambaram Stadium erupted as CSK had done a rare double over MI in IPL 2023.
