In a heartwarming video circulating online, Afghanistan’s 21-year-old opening batsman, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, is captured distributing money to some people sleeping on the streets of Ahmedabad. Gurbaz simply leaves the money next to the people who are fast asleep, without their knowledge. Gurbaz’s act of kindness must have surely brought immense happiness to the people when they woke up, especially because it is Diwali today. Gurbaz’s act of kindness has garnered immense praise and admiration from fans and fellow cricketers alike, highlighting the spirit of generosity and compassion that transcends the boundaries of the sport.

Gurbaz had a promising World Cup, scoring 280 runs with the help of two half-centuries. At just 21 years old, he is still very young and will benefit greatly from the experience and will definitely play a major role in Afghanistan in the years to come.
