Virat Kohli posts cryptic message after India’s World Test Championship final loss to Australia
India suffered a heavy defeat at the World Test Championship final in the hands of Australia by 209 runs at the Oval. The performance from the Indian batters was not up to the mark and the bowlers did not get their act together in the first innings. India have now been on the wrong side of things in back-to back World Test Championship finals and the wait for winning a world event continues.
After India’s painful loss, Virat Kohli dropped a cryptic message on social media which appeared to send the fans into a tizzy.
“The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance,” the quote read.
If we look at the message in deeper meaning, it appears that team India could be headed for a transition phase post the 2023 ODI World Cup which will be held on home soil. This could apply specially for the Test side which is aging.

It was very ordinary shot from Virat Kohli -Sunil Gavaskar on his WTC final dismissal against Australia
Kohli had shared a couple of motivational messages throughout the course of the marquee clash.
“Silence is a source of great strength,” he put on social media, a quote from Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu. The 34-year-old did not have great returns in the WTC final against Australia. in two innings the Delhi lad could only make 63 runs from two innings. They way he got out in the second innings chasing a wide bowl outside the off stump left Sunil Gavaskar absolutely livid.
“It was a bad shot. It was an ordinary shot. You are asking me about it, I think you should ask Kohli. What was that shot? That was a shot outside the off-stump. We talked so much about the fact that to win a match, you need a long inning. You need a century. How are you going to make a century if you are going to play a shot so far outside the off-stump,” Gavaskar said on Star Sports.
India have a break of one month before they embark on their next tour to the West Indies. India will play two tests, three ODIs and five T20Is against the Men in Maroon. The big task for India will be to try and win the 2023 ODI World Cup which will be held in India.
