Virat Kohli fan spotted in opening match of PSL 2023, has a special message for the Indian batter
The first match of the brand new season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was played between Multan Sultans and Lahore Qalandars at Multan Cricket Stadium in Multan on Monday, February 13. The opening contest was very exciting as the Shaheen Afridi-led team defeated the Sultan by 1 run.
Meanwhile, during the match, a fan was spotted holding a placard that read, “Wish to see Kohli.” This is enough to tell that India’s star batter Virat Kohli has a massive fan following not only in India but also in the neighboring country. Kohli is known for his excellent batting and his tremendous nature on the field. He is also considered the biggest threat to Pakistan as he has rescued the Indian team from a loss against Pakistan many times.

During the 20-20 World Cup in 2022, when the whole team was struggling against the Pakistani bowlers, he took things on his shoulder and won the match single-handedly for India. Kohli’s record against the Pakistan team has been excellent as he has 4 scored half-centuries in the last 5 innings against Pakistan.
Virat Kohli will be in action in the 2nd Test against Australia
The former India captain was last seen in action in the first Test match of the four-match Test series against Australia recently, where he didn’t have a great time with the bat and got out after scoring only 12 runs. He will look to make a comeback in the second Test match which will be played on February 17 in Delhi. He is out of colors in the longest format for a long time.
Meanwhile, India captain Rohit Sharma smashed his 9th hundred in the match and became the first-ever Indian captain to smash a century in all three formats. It was also his first century as a captain. Apart from him, India’s star allrounder Ravindra Jadeja made his comeback after an injury.
Jadeja picked up a fifer and also smashed a half-century in the first Test. He played his first international match after a 5-month gap. India convincingly defeated Australia in the first Test by an inning and 132 runs and are ahead with 1-0 lead over the Kangaroos.
