‘Virat ke shatak ke liye bahut intzaar rahega’- Fans react as Sourav Ganguly named as commentator for WTC Final
The World Test Championship final will be played between India and Australia at the Oval. England will be hosting the marquee clash for the second time. India will be playing their second World Test Championship final in the second WTC cycle. Australia is the top team in the rankings and India comes second. Whoever wins the WTC final will take home the Test Mace.
For the big event, the list of English commentators have come out and it is a very illustrious bunch of names. Sunil Gavaskar, Dinesh Karthik, Kumar Sangakkara, Nasser Hussain, Simon Doull, Isa Guha, Ian Bishop, Michael Atherton, Craig McMillan, Hasha Bhogle. The Hindi commentators for the marquee clash also is an illustrious list. It includes Sourav Ganguly, Harbhajan, Sreesanth, Jatin Sapru, and Deep Dasgupta.
Sourav Ganguly was seen last in IPL 2023 with Delhi Capitals
Ganguly was last seen in the Indian Premier League 2023 at the Delhi Capitals dugout. He was an advisor for the franchise. This is his second stint with the DC side after a season in 2019 where DC made it to the playoffs under Shreyas Iyer. Ganguly and DC did not have the best of seasons in 2023 as they finished ninth on the points table. DC could only conjure up five wins and nine losses. They ended IPL 2023 with 10 points.
India and Australia faced each other at the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which took place recently in India. The Rohit Sharma-led side beat the Kangaroos 2-1 and one the series, but conditions will be very different in England. Michael Vaughan has said that the conditions at the Oval might be conducive to spin and so India will fancy themselves come the big game.
India lost the 2021 WTC final against New Zealand. They will want to end their nine-year trophy drought when it comes to World events. Australia will want to upset India in conditions that carry a tinge of familiarity to them because of playing in the Ashes. The dukes ball will be used for the game as England is a neutral venue for both teams.

And won't say a single good thing about kohli "if he scores a 50 or so". He is one such cricketer whom I loved once which I started to hate a lot. Followed by boss dravid.
