Vicky Kaushal reveals the reality of education by dropping the All India Rank movie trailer
On Monday, the trailer for the movie ‘All India Rank‘ was unveiled by its creators. The trailer, which provides a realistic look into the rat race to secure an IIT seat, was shared by actor Vicky Kaushal. The movie, which was written by Sacred Games scribe Varun Grover, made his directorial debut and opened the 12th Dharamshala International Film Festival.
Sharing the trailer Vicky Kaushal wrote, “Hum dono engineers ka cinema ki duniya mein safar lagbhag saath hi shuru hua with… Masaan. ‘Saala yeh dukh kaahe khatam nahi hota bey!’ A line written by him has over the years evolved to be one of the most noteworthy scenes of my filmography so far. I’m so happy and proud to be presenting the Trailer of ALL INDIA RANK… the directorial debut of my dear and incredibly talented friend Varun Grover. Shine on mere bhai (my brother), and my best wishes to the entire team…”

The two minutes and thirty seconds of the trailer show how a 17-year-old Lucknow boy struggles in the 1990s with his family’s expectations. At an IIT coaching centre in Kota, he is preparing for the most difficult undergrad exam in India, and things are not going well. The main theme of the story appears to be how he perseveres in spite of everything.
Varun is well-known for his writing contributions to Masaan and Sacred Games. Bodhisattva Sharma, Samta Sudiksha, Shashi Bhushan, Geeta Agrawal, and Sheeba Chaddha play the key roles in his directorial debut. Gayatri M co-produces ‘All India Rank‘, which is produced by Sanjay Routray and Sarita Patil.
The movie, which is slated to open in theatres on February 23, features music composed by Mayukh–Mainak and lyrics written by Varun. Under the trailer, admirers posted messages of congratulations and well wishes for Varun’s upcoming directorial debut. Fans are excited to watch yet another content-rich movie. The filmmakers have promised to leave the audience amused and thinking.
