‘Very Sorry that you had go through this’ – Fans react as Jofra Archer says that news of him going to Belgium for elbow surgery is fake
It was initially believed that Jofra Archer has left India and had gone to visit an elbow specialist in Belgium. According to a report by the Telegraph, he went there to undertake a ‘minor surgical procedure’. He has had a lot of problems with his elbow over the last two years. He had a stress fracture in 2021, which sidelined him from the 20-20 World Cup, the Ashes and also the English Summer.
Now, Jofra has come up with a hard-hitting statement on Twitter and said that the news of him going to Belgium was a case of false reporting. “Putting out an article without knowing the facts & without my consent is crazy. Whoever the reporter is shame on you, an already worrying and troubling time for a player and you exploit it for your personal gain, it’s people like you that are the problem,” Archer wrote on Twitter.

Mumbai Indians have lost four games and have won three in IPL 2023 so far
The ECB has also confirmed that Archer had flown to Belgium to see an elbow specialist a ‘few weeks ago’. The right-arm pacer then returned to the Mumbai Indians camp and is expected to take part against Rajasthan Royals, whom MI will play next. Archer has not set the 2023 IPL alight so far. The tearaway pacer has played only two matches in the tournament so far. He has given away 75 runs and picked up only a solitary wicket.
MI plans of seeing Jasprit Bumrah and Archer bowling in tandem have gone down the drain as both of them have had injuries. MI had splurged 8 crores INR in the 2022 mega auction to snap him up, but he did not play in the 2022 IPL due to injury. Without Archer firing and no Bumrah, MI’s bowling attack looks very inexperienced and has seemed to have lost the sting that it once used to have.
MI have lost four games and won three in IPL 2023. The five-time IPL champions have been a stark shade of their normal self. The batting has not come well for them. The bowling also has been very expensive. MI have failed to put the pieces together and has not been consistent in IPL 2023.
Let us take a look at the reactions on Twitter:
Hope we are waiting for old Archer we have faith on you even you perform well or not always support you it's hard time for you but one day you will back to form every one will be shutdown love you 💙

Bro with all due respect, as an individual you know your body well, isn't it your responsibility to convey message about the same to the stake holders and franchise to they get appropriate time to find replacement or maybe change in plans . You are an integral part of team

Glad you clarified this by yourself. These media people are nothing but clickbait machine. They've done similar things umpteen number of times. Still remember them writing articles about Bhuvi being not interested in playing test cricket. Really sorry you had to go through this.
