Vedaa – John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh look intense in the first look of their upcoming film
Pathaan actor John Abraham has revealed the first poster and release date for his upcoming movie. John posted the poster on Wednesday on X, which was formerly Twitter. The movie, called Vedaa, is scheduled for release in July of this year. The poster showed actor Sharvari Wagh standing behind John, who had a rugged appearance, with tears in her eyes. The poster also featured a weapon. John shared the poster and said, “Explore the world of #Vedaa. releasing on July 12 in theatres!” The film is directed by Nikkhil Advani.
“High-energy action-drama” is how the movie has been dubbed. Following the release of the films Salaam-e-Ishq and Batla House, it represents John and Nikhil’s reunion. Abhishek Banerjee plays a significant role in Vedaa as well. Vedaa was directed by the director from a screenplay written by Aseem Arora. Zed Studios, Emmay Entertainment (Advani), and JA Entertainment (John) are the producers of the film.

In a statement to the news agency PTI, Nikhil said, “Beyond a movie, Vedaa is more. It pushes the bounds of reality while reflecting our society and drawing inspiration from actual occurrences. Working with John, Sharvari Wagh, and Abhishek Banerjee has been an incredible experience. I’m glad to finally announce the release date and fingers crossed the audience gets moved the way we all did when we first heard the story of Vedaa.”
John wrapped up Vedaa filming in Kashmir in December of last year. South Kashmir’s Anantnag district and Srinagar served as filming locations. John claimed to have had an amazing time in Kashmir in a video posted on X by the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department. We are in Ashmuqam filming. It is an incredibly wonderful location. There are 240 extras available. As you can see, from where I am, on the outskirts of Anantnag, it is simply amazing. The actor had remarked, “It’s such a beautiful place, Kashmir,” while donning the traditional pheran cloak of Kashmir.
