Kannada actress Rashmika Mandana revealed that her favourite IPL team is RCB.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore have not had the best of seasons so far in IPL 2023. The Faf du Plessis led side have won four games and lost four of them. If they are looking for some inspiration to try and change the rest of the season. Then they need not look any further. Kannada actress Rashmika Mandana revealed on Star Sports interview that her favourite IPL team is RCB.

She has joined the RCB bandwagon. The actress said that she likes the ‘Ee Saala Cup Namde’ campaign that is going on with RCB in the IPL. Furthermore, the actress hoped that RCB would create history this year and win their first IPL title.

She also dropped another big revelation that her favourite cricket is Virat Kohli. She addressed him as ‘Virat Sir’ in the interview. RCB have one of the most passionate fan bases at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium and the in-game atmosphere has always been very electric.

RCB have not won an IPL title on 15 editions of the tournament

RCB have not been able to get their hands on their maiden IPL title in 15 editions. The Bold Army though has managed to make to three finals in the league. They made it to the summit clash in 2009, 2011 and 2016. They also have made it to the playoffs the most number of times after Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians in the IPL.

The Bold Army have blown hot and cold this season. They need their players in the middle order to step up. The middle order for RCB has been as good as a dry well. Other than the trio of Kohli, du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell no one else has stepped up. Dinesh Karthik has been shoddy behind the stumps and has not batted well. The likes of Mahipal Lomror and Anuj Rawat have not been up to the mark.

The young guns of RCB have been burdened by the weight of expectations. If RCB have to do well in the season and even have a chance of winning the title this year, they have to address their problems and come up with innovative solutions. If not then an early exit is looming in the shadows for the Bold Army.
