Genshin Impact recently revealed the upcoming character Chevreuse’s ability, a few days ahead of the new banners she will be featured in. Both Yoimiya and Raiden Shogun banners will feature Chevreuse with an increased drop rate.

Character

Chevreuse is a 4-star pyro character from Fontaine and was introduced in the Roses and Musket event in the Genshin 4.3 update. The second phase of the 4.3 banners will soon be starting and Chevreuse will be obtained in both banners.

She will also be the first character to use her gun in her burst ability as well as her elemental skill. Before Chevreuse, Navia also used her umbrella (Gun+Umbrella) for her elemental ability, but her super was just a barrage from far-away cannons.

Weapons and Abilities

As per the official announcement, her main weapon will be the Polearm used for normal attacks. This includes your regular four-hit combos with a charge attack. What’s interesting are her abilities.

Using her skill ability, Chevreuse uses her musket for a quick fire infused with pyro damage. Holding the ability lets players aim and select their target. Holding will also do a small charged AoE attack. Using the skill will also heal you for a short duration based on the character’s max HP.

Her burst ability (ultimate) allows her to do another AoE attack in a circle. The first shot from the ability will spread small mines which will detonate a second later. This can stagger regular enemies and make room for more attacks.

Since the character is from Fontaine, her skill level up beyond 6 uses Lightless Eye of the Maelstrom obtained from All-Devouring Narwhal weekly boss. Her abilities will also allow players to slot her in an overloaded team.

Chevreuse will also be backed by Kujo Sara, an elector 4-star character and Bennett, another 4-star pyro character used to heal and buff other team members. Both of the characters are a great support for the main DPS units.
