The Legends League Cricket tournament has been quite an exciting affair so far. It has caught the eye of the fans as famous retired players from several countries descended on Indian shores to play the league in India. Players who were the best in their prime got a chance to rekindle their memories as they go up against greats from other sides.

Meanwhile, the Legends League Cricket tournament has got a major shot in the arm as Chris Gayle will be available to play for the Gujarat Giants in their next clash on Tuesday, which would be held at the Barabati Stadium at Cuttack in Orrisa.

The fans will be treated to a run making feast as two of the most destructive international batters in their hay days, Chris Gayle and Virender Sehwag, will team up as an opening pair and might take out the living daylights on any bowling attack they face in Legends League Cricket.

Chris Gayle and sixes go hand in hand as he was one of the most destructive players of the white ball during his peak.  The Universe Boss was a superstar in his own right. He has a record of a whopping 1056 hits in 463 matches.

The Legends Cricket League was first hosted in Oman with only three teams namely the India Maharajahs, Asian Lions and World Giants. This year, the tournament has four teams, namely the Gujarat Giants, India Capitals, Bhilwara Kings, and Manipal Tigers.

The Virender Sehwag-led Gujarat Giants are, at present, placed on second position at the points table with five points to their kitty in four matches. However, they will have a chance to get to pole position if they beat the Bhilwara Kings, who are led by Irfan Pathan.
