They spent a huge sum of 7.2 crores on an unknown entity, Kumar Kushagra is an explosive wicket-keeper batsman from Jharkhand who is all set to be a part of the Delhi XI. The 20-year-old, initially valued at a modest INR 20 lakhs, sparked a fierce bidding frenzy, a testament to his undeniable talent and potential. Kushagra’s talent is undeniable, but consistency hasn’t been a feature of his game. Recent domestic performances haven’t been impressive which cast a shadow over his hefty price tag. Yet, Delhi Capitals placed their trust in his potential and so, his progress will be monitored closely throughout the season.
