Virat Kohli, the Indian batter and superstar, joined his wife Anushka Sharma to spend time with her in Dubai after a dismal outing against Bangladesh in the Test series, although it was the KL Rahul-led team that won the series, staying alive in the race to make a cut to the summit clash of the Test championship.

The right-handed batter, on December 31, Saturday, posted a picture of himself, along with his wife gazing at the early morning sky and captioned it to be the last sunrise of 2022, on his social media accounts. Fans, who took cognizance of the same, went crazy and started to share the image all over the internet.

Here is Virat Kohli’s post:

Can Virat Kohli bounce back in Border-Gavaskar trophy against mighty Australia?

Although the superstar ended his century drought in the white-ball format in 2022, one has to agree that his dismal run in the longest format of the game continued till the very last match of the year. While Kohli scored his 71st and 72nd international hundred in the year, the batter failed to reach the three-figure landmark in Tests.

However, with India set to face the mighty Australians in the Border-Gavaskar trophy in March in the coming year, the star batter would hope to make a roaring comeback and with matches being played in India, his century drought in the Test format could well come to an end, much to the relief of the Indian fans. If at all the talismanic batter fails to make an impact with the bat in Tests in 2023, one could predict a possible retirement from either of the formats, given that the star Indian right-hander would turn 35 at the end of the year.

On the other hand, Anushka recently shared images from the sets of ‘Chakda Xpress’, an upcoming biopic based on the life of Indian women’s pacer Jhulan Goswami. With shooting wrapped, the movie is all set to hit the screens in the approaching year, amid huge expectations and anticipations.
