The Pakistan Super League has had a notable 8th edition that has been conducted so far. The cricket has been top class and it has been great to watch. The PSL has had a few stumbling blocks as well but despite that, it continues to do well. The PSL has its eighth edition that is currently running.

Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars are set to cross paths on February 26th. Babar Azam will feature for Zalmi and Shaheen Afridi will feature for Qalandars. Babar Azam gave a hilarious reply when asked a question about the battle with Shaheen. This is how the conversation between Babar and the reporter took place.

Babar quickly responded to the query which gave a hearty laugh to everyone present at the conference.

Babar said that he enjoyed playing against the likes of Shaheen and also said that it gives him an edge and extra motivation while playing in the PSL. He further said that the PSL is a great competition and that all the players work hard to give their best for their respective franchises.

The PSL has been hit by a financial crisis as the Pakistan Cricket Board has received a bill of 500 million PKR from the government in relation to expenses for hosting the tournament. There have been some reports floating around that the remaining matches in the PSL could be shifted to Karachi. Reports have also come in that eight cameras have been stolen which are reportedly worth millions of rupees. The cameras were security cameras which were used for safeguarding the Gaddafi stadium at Lahore.
