This was a common thing for India as well as India. Both the teams’ openers mostly accomplished their tasks, while the lower order made an effort to hang around and annoy their opponents. However, the significant difference was that Ollie Pope was able to make a big score in the 2nd innings, whilst none of the Indians could. KL Rahul struck a good-looking 86 in the first innings, but neither he nor Shubman Gill or Shreyas Iyer scored more than 35 runs.
