The Chennai Super Kings now have won five Indian Premier League titles. The Yellove Army are now on par with Mumbai Indians in terms of IPL titles. CSK are the most successful IPL franchise in terms of statistics. The MS Dhoni-led side has made it the most time into the IPL playoffs. MI also has won five IPL titles under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, but they have made it to the playoffs nine times.
Speaking on the same, Dwayne Bravo and Kieron Pollard had some banter among themselves in a video on Instagram. They were speaking about who is the most consistent franchise among CSK and MI in the IPL. Though they were having a fun debate, neither backed down from making arguments as to why, according to them, their team was more accomplished than the other in the tournament.

Chennai Super Kings chased down the target of 175 in the IPL 2023 Final
MI won their last IPL title in 2020. CSK played out one of the most intense finals in 2023 in the history of the IPL. They beat Gujarat Titans by 5 wickets, who were the defending champions of the IPL. The Narendra Modi Stadium hosted the dramatic fixture which went on for three days. The big encounter was played on May 29 on the reserve day. May 28 was when the final was initially scheduled.
GT batted first and set the tone brilliantly, Sai Sudharsan played the innings of his life as the left-handed batter scored a pristine 96 off 47 balls with eight fours and six sixes. Wriddhiman Saha made a valuable 54 off 39 balls with five fours and one six. GT scored 214-4 in their 20 overs. Torrential rain after the first innings meant that the game was reduced to 15 overs and CSK had a revised target of 175.
In the second innings, an experienced CSK unit brought themselves back into the game with short and sharp contributions. Ravindra Jadeja produced amazing batting heroics in the last over to get CSK on a pedestal in the IPL. They now have won five titles under MS Dhoni.
