The most-awaited 2023 ODI World Cup is fast approaching as the teams are getting ready for the marquee tournament. The last time a match was played in the ODI World Cup, the world witnessed arguably the greatest cricket match of all time. The fans are expecting the 2023 season of the big tournament to have no less thrill.

The Asian teams will get the required preparation in the form of the Asia Cup. The SENA teams (South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Australia) will be preparing by playing some of the bilateral series. The Netherlands, who made their surprise entry to the tournament, is set to practice in Bengaluru ahead of the big tournament. The fans are hyped up for the series.

A large number of people are expected to visit India for the tournament. The game between India and Pakistan is expected to break all the previous records in terms of the number of sold-out tickets, viewership, TV rights, and so on. In simple words, it will not be any less than a big festival. As the fans are excited about the tournament, so are some of the former cricketers and analysts. They are not expecting anything different from the fans.

Glenn Mcgrath picks his four semifinalists

Many experts have predicted the tournament to drive the cricket world. Some of the former cricketers like Eoin Morgan have given their opinions about the contenders for the title. The former Australian great Glenn Mcgrath is the latest cricketer to give his opinion about the contenders for the title. The three-time World Cup winner predicted India, Australia, England, and Pakistan as the four finalists.

“You would not be surprised that I am putting Australia in that four. Obviously, India is playing in their conditions. England is playing some great cricket and Pakistan is also playing fine. So, they are the best four,” said Mcgrath and picked his top 4 for the tournament. The choice of the former pacer was the same as that of Morgan, who picked the same teams as the semifinalists for the tournament.
