Suryakumar Yadav stole the show with the bat yet again on Thursday with an amazing performance in Johannesburg. The 33-year-old scored his 4^th century in T20I cricket for team India.

The Indian T20I skipper also joined his Indian teammate Rohit Sharma at the top of the list. Both the batters now have hit four centuries in this format with Surya’s century coming in quick time.

It was India who batted first after Aiden Markram won the toss. Three changes were in place for the home side as Gerald Coetzee and Marco Jansen were released after the last game. India decided to play the same team that had lost the 2^nd game in Gqeberha.

SKY steals the show in Johannesburg

Asked to bat first, India reached 201 from their 20 overs thanks to Suryakumar Yadav. The 33-year-old Indian T20I skipper scored his 4^th century off just 55 balls before falling to Lizaad Williams.

None of the bowlers were spared as the 33-year-old hit the South Africans to all parts of the ground. The crowd at the New Wanderers stadium constantly were looking in the air as the ball flew into the crowd 8 times thanks to Suryakumar Yadav.

Young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal played the perfect foil to his skipper as the pair added 112 runs for the 3^rd wicket. The runs came in 63 balls as the young opener scored 60 runs with 3 sixes and six fours in his 41-ball knock.

The rest of the Indian batters didn’t get much time with the bat thanks to the Yadav and Jaiswal show. Shubman Gill and Tilak Varma fell to Keshav Maharaj in successive balls to leave India at 29/2 at the one stage in the 3^rd over.

24-year-old Shubman Gill was out after scoring 12 runs from 6 balls with 2 hits to the fence. Just when the youngster was looking good Gill played across the wrong line to be out LBW. Tilak Varma tried to be aggressive right from the start but could only give an easy catch to Aiden Markram for a duck.
