The Rock set to shake up WWE RAW: Suspends 16-time Champion amid controversy

Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock is set to make a return in WWE RAW as he is going to replace Roman Reigns in the main event against Cody Rhodes. As Cody Rhodes spoke something about their family.

The Rock slapped Cody Rhodes as he attempted retaliation. The Visionary even told The Rock that he couldn’t do anything he pleased to do because he was on TKO’s Board of Directors.

The Rock has already revealed that if he makes a surprise visit to WWE RAW it will be against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins to get a little into fighting. The Rock said this on the WWE SmackDown episode.

As he is still suffering from a knee injury he can’t fight with Cody Rhodes who is current World Heavyweight Champion. In the meantime, he has used his power as a board member to suspend Seth Rollins for his remarks towards him.

WWE WrestleMania trailer released

This would put a huge pressure on the WWE legend whereas Seth Rollins can take a few weeks off until it’s certified. He would then be able to do proper planning for his WrestleMania rivalry. This also contributes to the idea that The Rock was now utilising his newly acquired authority.

WWE has also released a trailer for The Show of Shows in which Roman Reigns and The Rock come face to face with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. The trailer time is 30 seconds. It seems like it will be a tag team match as it may be the main event of WrestleMania.

Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes can make big news on WrestleMania40. On the other hand, Seth Rollins has to defend his title at the World Heavyweight Championship against the winner of the Elimination Chamber match.

To earn the title shot Drew Mclntyre is assumed as favorite. So far Randy Orton and Drew Mclntyre are the only wrestlers who are qualified for the event.
