Kieron Pollard, one of the icons in the Indian Premier League turns 36 today. The big hard hitting West Indian has been a long-standing servant of the Mumbai Indians. With his big hitting, he enthralled the Wankhede crowd and Mumbai has made him one of his own, MI were not out of a game till Pollard was at the crease, The Man from the Caribbean hit the ball with such force that it went miles.
The role in the middle order he used to play for them was tough, but he performed with aplomb. He has been an absolute giant in the IPL. The right-hander has scored 3412 runs at an average of 28.67 and at a strike rate of 147.32. The current batting coach of MI has made 16 fifties. He has the highest score of 87. Pollard was a very effective bowler as well. The right-armer has picked up 69 wickets in the tournament. He has a bowling average of 31.69. The big-hitting batter has hit 223 sixes in the IPL.

He has essayed the finisher’s role for MI and played a lot of important innings for them. The all-rounder has won games for MI from precarious situations.
