The Hundred is the newest format of Cricket being played in England. The format is short and high octane. It has been introduced in the England Cricket Circles to bring younger and newer audiences to the sport. The Hundred has Men and Women’s games. The Men’s games are currently on, with eight teams in total in the tournament.

Today’s match will take place between Trent Rockets and Birmingham Phoenix. This is the fourth match of the second season. The two teams have players like Liam Livingstone, Rashid Khan, Mathew Wade, David Malan in their squads. Today should be a good game of cricket. Birmingham Phoenix had to make some late additions to their squad after Tom Abell, who is carrying a hamstring injury, and Olly Stone, who was diagnosed with a  finger injury, have been ruled out from the tournament.

Glamorgan Fast – Bowler  Timm van der Gugten and Brett D’Oliveira are in the squad, but it is unlikely either will feature in the opener. The big-hitters – Liam Livingstone and Moeen Ali  are available and rearing to go, as are overseas quick Adam Milne and leg-spinner Imran Tahir.
