The Draft is the new take to boost esports across India and Pakistan. Hosted by Nodwin Gaming and Blast, the event aims to provide esports teams from both countries an international stage and exposure.

Along with that, the teams will also be able to play with some of the esports legends in the Counter-Strike community. A total of six teams have currently made their way to the Playoffs taking place in Kuala Lumpur.

The Counter-Strike Legends include –

Kenny “kennyS” Schrub
Christopher “GeT_RiGhT” Alesund
Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovacs
Olof “olofmeister” Gustafsson
Adam “friberg” Friberg Pak Boyz
Richard “shox” Papillon

The six teams in the Playoffs –

True Rippers (India)
Come Mid (Pakistan)
Gods Reign (India)
WahWah (Pakistan)
Pak Boyz (Pakistan)
Marcos Gaming (India)

All the teams qualified through the Indian and Pakistani divisions for The Draft that took place last month. The top three teams from the division matches from both countries are now playing with legends of CS.

Format –

Winners of the Indian and Pakistani divisions have secured a direct place in the Upper Bracket Semifinals. Other teams will fight it out in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals. The winning team will move to the Semifinals, while the losers will start their journey in the lower brackets.

From there on, the matches will follow the usual Double-Elimination bracket in a best-of-three format. Over the next few days, teams will give their best to reach the grand finals. The final match will be a best-of-five.
