Animal, Ranbir Kapoor’s first collaboration with South filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is gaining traction not only among Hindi-speaking audiences but also in the South. Ranbir was seen in Hyderabad for one of the film’s events, which was also attended by superstar Mahesh Babu and megastar filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli, amid extensive promotions across all of these film industries. During the same time period, a politician named Malla Reddy appeared to have gotten a lot of attention for his speech which he called ‘Telugu people smarter’ than others.

Animal Movie controversy:

Malla Reddy is seen addressing the audience in the video, telling Ranbir Kapoor to relocate to Hyderabad because, according to him, the entire Telugu-speaking clan will soon rule India. The minister stated, “Ranbir ji, aapko ek baat bolna chahta hu. Poore Hindustan ko, Bollywood, Hollywood, poora ruling karega humara Telugu people, agla paanch saal mein. Hyderabad shift hona padta aap bhi ek saal ke baad. Bombay purana ho gaya kyu bole. Bangalore traffic is bad. Hyderabad is the capital of Hindustan (Ranbir). Sir, let me tell you something. Telugu people will rule India, Bollywood, Hollywood, and everything else in the next five years. After a year, you will also be transferred to Hyderabad. Now that Bombay has aged and Bangalore is congested, there is only one city in India, and that is Hyderabad).”

Many netizens who saw this speech on social media reacted to it, with some even pointing out Mahesh Babu and S.S. Rajamouli’s visible embarrassment during Reddy’s speeches. Others praised Ranbir Kapoor for not reacting to the comments and instead brushing them off with a smile. Some users, on the other hand, were clearly upset with Reddy for discriminating against his audience and demeaning other film industries.

Animal, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Triptii Dimri, is set to be released on December 1 in all South languages and Hindi. The craze and excitement for the film are strong. The advance booking sales are proof of the anticipation and hype of the film.
