Suresh Raina has been one of the most celebrated characters in Indian Cricket. He was a man who found colour and joy in the celebrations of others. That was the best part about Raina, he was a team man, and he went down to any length to help his team win. Suresh Raina had a storied career when he was playing for the Men in Blue and was a vital part of the Indian middle order.
The other facet of Suresh Raina was that he was a vital all-round package for Team India as he could change the course of the game with his left-handed batting and also was a superb livewire on the field. He used to take up important positions in the field for Team India and take stunners from whichever position he was fielding.
Suresh Raina rolled back the years by doing what he does best in the field. He took a superb diving catch at backward point to dismiss Ben Dunk and this catch took place in the semifinal of the Road Safety World Series against the Australia Legends.
It happened in the 16th over when Australia was batting. When Abhimanyu Mithun bowled a low full toss to Ben Dunk, he hit the ball towards a diving Suresh Raina, who went full stretch to his left so that he could pouch the ball in his hand.
What a dive. What a catch 😱✨@ImRaina you beauty ♥️

He was a fabulous batter in the middle order for the men in blue and had the shots to switch gears at any point in time. Raina was superb in the white ball formats and scored 5615 ODI runs in 226 matches at an average of 35.31 and a strike rate of 93.50. He became the 1st Indian to score a century in all formats.
