Pakistan will begin their three-match home Test series against England on 1 December 2022. After a long gap of 17 years, England reached Pakistan to play the Test series. However, ahead of the series, England dealt with a major blow on 30 November. Reports came out that 14 members of England’s touring team have fallen ill due to a virus.

It is unknown what kind of virus it is. Among the sick players is their captain Ben Stokes. Only Harry Brook, Zak Crawley, Keaton Jennings, Ollie Pope, and Joe Root survived that virus. So, there were reports also that the first Test match might get canceled. Regarding that, both the Board shared their stance on Twitter. In response to that, Stuart Broad and Naseer Husain got involved in a funny Twitter conversation.
