3. Courtney Walsh sets a new precedent – 1987 ODI World Cup
Pakistan needed two runs to win from the final ball of the game in the 1987 ODI World Cup game in Lahore. Salman Jaffer had backed up too far but Courtney Walsh just did not run out the batter. Pakistan went on to win the game but it was Walsh who won the hearts.
