9. Sachin Tendulkar doesn’t wait for the umpire’s decision – 2011 ODI World Cup
The Indian team was playing West Indies in the Group B game at Chennai. Ravi Rampaul bowled a short ball which got a thin edge of Tendulkar’s bat. The umpire did not move but the Indian legend began to walk. The Indian maestro had scored just two runs but won the hearts of millions of cricket fans. India won the game by 80 runs after Yuvraj Singh’s ton.
